Abstract:

"Silence of Text" is the basis for the theory of "contraction and expansion of Shariah" and this idea is based on the assumption of "being an absolute consumer of religious knowledge". Soroush, like Gadamer and Derrida, adopts an audience-centered approach in answering the question of: Where does the meaning of the Text come from? His answer is that the meaning of the Text resides in the understanding that emerges from the audience’s interpretation of the Text individually or through question and answer. This idea has a number of consequences including relativism, violation of order in sending messengers and therevelation of the holy book, and the negation of the possibility of achieving wisdom. The present paper aims at delineating the origins of the idea of "silence of Text" taking a hermeneutical perspective.

Abstract:

The Text linguistics is one of that fields that has had a great impact on Translation Studies. In many definitions, translation has been defined as the replacement of a Text in one language by a Text in the target language, and a lot of researchers tried to use theories of Text linguistics in translational investigation. Accordingly, Yousof Noor Ewath tried in a communicative perspective to provide a short history of Text linguistics and translation studies in his book "Elmonnas wa Nazariyat Al-Tarjomah" (The Text Linguistics and Translation Theory) and to explain the relationship between these two fields. So at the end of both book's two chapters, he has raised his theory of these fields and named it: (Nazariyat Al-Enziyahat) the shifts of theory. He recognizes three types of meaning in Texts as Obligatory Meaning, Extended Meaning and Accessory Meaning, and based on the quantity of these different meanings in Texts, it is divided into three types: Literary Texts, non-literary Text, and Fuzzy Texts or Hybrid Texts. In his opinion, with regard to this division and differences between each of these types, an appropriate translational strategy should be chosen. This paper with a descriptive-analytic method tries to review this book and to analyze its appearance and content and to assess the degree of realization of book's goals That are, to write a Text linguistic approached introduction to translation studies and also tried to study the compatibility of this work contents with Arabic language and literature field. The most important result of current study is as follows two reasons caused this book not to be a comprehensive introduction to the Text linguistics and translation studies: first the book was published long time ago, and secondly, the book has not mentioned all the main tendencies of the two fields and lacks all the necessary topics related to curriculum which prevents this book from being considered as the main source of translation theory courses, but paying attention to the new ideas and a strong theoretical framework can present the innovative research ideas and new thinking way about the translation process.

Abstract:

This article tried to critically review the methodology of Islamic management articles and introduce and explain a new method in Islamic management research entitled "exploratory Text analysis. " For this purpose, after a comprehensive and analytical review of prevailing research methods in Islamic management research and identifying the gap in the methodology of this field, the new method of "exploratory Text analysis" has been introduced in an eight-step process, initially. Next, its features and differences compared to other methods had explained. Then, a sample of work done with this method, titled "exploration of Imam Ali's leadership model from Malik Ashtar's treaty" and its stages were described. The results of this research showed that the introduced method has a suitable capacity to discover and extract the conceptual pattern hidden in Islamic Texts. It provides the possibility to receive the main message and the intention of the author of the Text independently and comprehensively and without prejudice.

Abstract:

Riyaz al-Salekin Interpretation of Sayyid Ali Khan is one of the comprehensive and complete interpretations of Sahifeh Sajjadieh, which is written in Arabic. The author of this commentary is proficient in various sciences, so this commentary is full of various literary, rhetorical, Qur’ anic, narrative, theological and mystical topics. The main issue of this article is the typology of the perceptions of Mr. Ali Khan in understanding the Text of the prayers in Riyaz al-Salekin. Using the Text Critique patterns, the typology the perceptions of sayyed Ali khan are discussed. The results indicate that in the position of perception based on the Text, he has used linguistic sciences to analyze the themes of the prayers in the best possible way. Also, using rhetorical sciences, he has been able to show the literal beauties of prayer and in some cases use them semantically. At the same time, he has not entered the cultural level of perception based on the Text. The other part of his perceptions are beyond the Text based on the any Text by establishing interTextuality between the Texts of prayers and verses of the Qur’ an and the narrations of the Imams of the Infallibles (AS), especially Nahj al-Balaghah. In this step he has explained and developed the contents of the prayers. Also, a significant part of this description is the result of the phenomenon of interpretation in interpretation.

Abstract:

This article reviews the hermeneutic point of view of Paul Ricoeur based on the interpretation opinions of Ayatollah Khamenei . After studying and examining the works of interpretation, especially the interpretation of Ayatollah Khamenei's statement, he extracts the topics related to hermeneutic views and uses them to criticize and evaluate the hermeneutic thoughts of Paul Ricoeur. The critical analytical review method is based on library studies. The findings of the research show the interpretation opinions of Ayatollah Khamenei as hermeneutic topics and are effective in correct understanding and interpretation direction. Ricoeur is one of the French Text-oriented hermeneutists. His hermeneutic theory is based on language, reflection, understanding and self. Ricoeur considers interpretation to be a phenomenon with three stages, explanation, understanding, and appropriation. In the second stage of the "understanding" process and interpretation, the independence of the Text from the author's intention and intent, the distance of the Text from the conText, the issuance of intentional fallacies, the multiplicity of meaning, the understanding superior to the author, the implied author, etc. constitute the foundations and presuppositions of Ricoeur. give Based on the principles and presuppositions of Ayatollah Khamenei, the Quran is a book of revelation and its Text is objective and real. The originality and centrality is with the Text and the author, and the exegete is its third pillar, who uses the Text to discover the meaning and intention of God. Therefore, because of the relativism and pluralism of understanding, Ricoeur's interpretive theory has no place in the understanding and interpretation of the Qur'an, which is contrary to the guidance and purposefulness of the Qur'an.

Abstract:

Identifying what was scarified by the Prophet Ibrahim (AS) is a serious issue in monotheistic religions. The Testaments apparently consider Isaac (AS) to be the sacrificed (zhabīh), while Muslims differ in defining it due to the ambiguity of the verses related to the story of the sacrifice (zhibh) in the Qur’an. The scope of this disagreement is even greater in the Shiite and Sunni narrations; Some Shiite and Sunni narrations introduce Ishmael (AS) as the sacrificed and another group as Isaac (AS). This research assesses the Texts related to this issue in Islamic and Biblical sources, including those are directly or indirectly related to determining the sacrificed, with an analytical-critical approach through the sanad and Textual analysis of the Islamic narrations and Biblical Texts. Findings show that despite the Biblical explicit statements in determining the sacrificed, the in-Text evidences suggest that the phrases referring to the name of the sacrificed are the interpretive additions of the commentators of the Bible. Additionally, despite the disagreement between Islamic narrations in determining the sacrificed, analyzing the sanads of narrations and considering the in-Text evidences of the verses of the Qur’an and Islamic narrations prove that Ismael (AS) was the candidate for the Ibrahim’s sacrifice.

Abstract:

The most important issue that Naser Ghaffari, one of the contemporary critics of Shia, mentioned in his book "Principles of Twelver Shiism: Review and Critique" is the lack of Text on the Imamate of Imam Ali (AS). He states that the current Texts are made by Shia scholars and Sheikhs, and assuming the existence of a correct Text, it is not related to a specific person. In order to prove his claim about the lack of Text on the Imamate of Imam Ali (AS), Ghaffari raises ten doubts. Citing the words of other Sunni scholars, this article aims to 1. Answer Ghaffari's doubts 2. Show that the existing Texts are not made by Shia scholars, but are also reflected in Sunni sources 3. According to the Texts taken from Sunni sources, the meaning of the Texts has also been determined, which, for some reasons, has been overlooked by the likes of Ghafari since long ago.

Abstract:

In this article, the writers make a distinction between two types of Text, open Text and closed Text. While the latter has a fixed and limited meaning, fixed signifiers and signifieds, with the signs always referring the reader to a fixed world, the former has the potential to be loaded with various meanings. To explicate the two types of Text and the factors that make a Text open, the writers draw on the views of great thinkers such as Rolan Barthes, Wolfgang Izer, Jacques Derrida and Carl Gustav Yung. The purpose of the article is to show how a familiarity with the western interpretations of Hermeneutics can affect our appreciation of Persian literature.

Abstract:

Fidelity has been debated among scholars of translation studies for some time. Foregrounding recent issues such as hermeneutics, deconstructionalism, and feminist Critique of language, this article argues that the author can no longer assume the role of one who looks over the translators shoulder. It further proposes that, in light of such theories, the translator is not ready to accept his/her role as a passive recipient of the intended meaning implanted in the source language. The article further elaborates on this new approachs attitude towards the translator as one who, by deploying diverse strategies, negotiates meaning with the author, midwifes the style, and intervenes in or highlights, the discursive aspects of the Text.

Abstract:

One of the most important issues in Qur’ anic sciences, which has a close relationship with the revelation of the Qur’ an, is the Text of the Qur’ an. The revelation of the Text of the Qur’ an requires that this Text be eloquent, beautiful, and coherent, in terms of appearance and deep, harmonious and without contradiction, in terms of content. Due to the importance of this issue and its relationship with the revelation of the Qur’ an, orientalists have elaborated on it in their works. Furthermore, they have studied the Text of the Qur’ an in terms of literary structure and continuity and conceptual coherence, and in terms of compatibility of the content of the verses with each other and with the experimental sciences. This paper, which has been authored in a descriptive-analytical method using library documents, first raises the issue and then deals with the views of orientalists and EQ authors on this issue. In the third stage, it has compared the views of previous orientalists to the views of the authors of EQ, and at the end, it has criticized the views of orientalists about the Text of the Qur’ an. The findings suggest that some EQ articles have an impartial and appropriate approach because their authors are Muslim. However, most of the basic papers written by orientalists have continued the path of earlier orientalists and by assuming that the Qur’ an is nonrevelatory, they have followed the subject of the Text of the Qur’ an.
